PTO and Parent Info Meeting
A paving project is set to begin tomorrow at Tanner Hight School. This will effect the high school car line. THS car line will drop off down by the back of the gym. Tanner Middle and High school parents will be on the inside lane. Tanner Elementary car line will not change. We will continue to run two lanes and drop off at the front door of Tanner Elementary.
Attention Parents: Bus 52 will be late today. Your student will be on Bus 37 and will be dropped off later than usual.
It was so great to see all of the smiling faces at TES on Friday!! Here are some very important updates to start off the upcoming week:
Doors open at 7:15 AM. This year breakfast is in the cafeteria only. In previous years, students were allowed to eat breakfast in the classrooms. Due to some CNP guidelines, this currently is not allowed at any LCS. Breakfast is over at 7:35 AM. Morning bell rings at 7:40 AM. If the morning bell has rung, parents will have to park and walk their student inside to check them in with the front office. Please make sure you have read the attendance policy very closely in the student handbook.
Car Line Updates
Morning 7:15 AM: We are going back to the previous double line car line for morning and afternoon to see if it flows more smoothly than on Friday. Having two schools on one campus is very tight. Elementary cars will enter on Gary Newton and follow along until the gate at the football field. Two lanes will be formed to flow to the elementary school front doors. WE WILL NOT BE UNLOADING AT THE GYM! Students will be directed when to exit their cars by a TES employee. Once the area is clear cars will be directed to the Dowd street exit.
Afternoon 2:45 PM: We will use the same system for the afternoon car line. You must place your CAR NUMBER in your windshield to help the traffic flow much smoother. If you do not have a car line number, you must call the front office and speak with Mrs. Lori on Monday prior to 12:00 Noon. There are new numbers for this school year. If a parent needs a high school student to pick up a younger sibling, that sibling must be listed as a pick up contact in Powerschool. If they are not listed, you must notify the school via email or in person. High school students will have to come to the front entrance patio and sign out the student from a TES employee. For safety reasons they are not allowed to just walk up and take them. This was very confusing on Friday. Hopefully this will work much better. Please be patient as we are making adjustments.

Summer hours are Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
